MCU Gender Equality Issue No. 09

In issue by ounaihwa

With the implementation of the amended Gender Equality in Employment Act, many originally believed that the system would become more complete and that victims’ rights would be better protected. However, frontline service experience and recent social cases reveal that while the legal reforms mark progress, they also expose numerous systemic gaps and practical challenges that urgently need to be addressed. Recognizing the close connection between campus and workplace environments, this issue aims to guide readers through analysis of key topics, case illustrations, and prevention strategies. Our goal is to help everyone understand the potential impact of the new law and further reflect on how to strengthen institutional shortcomings, cultivate more mature gender awareness through education, and build an environment where victims feel safe and willing to seek help.
