Ming Chuan University hosted the 20th Anniversary Sharing Session of the MOE Collegiate Women Students’ Leadership Training Camp: "You Decide Who You Become"

To celebrate the 20th anniversary milestone of the Collegiate Women Students’ Leadership Training Camp, the Youth Development Administration of the Ministry of Education organized the "20th Anniversary Reunion of the Collegiate Women Students’ Leadership Training Camp," hosted by Ming Chuan University. The event concluded successfully on November 4th at the Howard Plaza Hotel Taipei, inviting alumni of the program to share inspiring stories of leadership in their careers and lives.

Ming Chuan University Vice President for International Affairs, Dr. Lee, Lan-Yu, thanked the Youth Development Administration for giving Ming Chuan University the opportunity to serve as the northern region's coordinator for youth career counseling since 2017. Ming Chuan University organized two Women Students’ Leadership Training Camps in 2022-2023, each comprising three-day, two-night camps in the northern, central, and southern Taiwan, training nearly 400 outstanding young women students.

Library Gender Equality Series Book Exhibition

This book exhibition focused on "gender roles," presenting the diversity of gender roles to challenge the stereotypical expectations of gender in society. It aimed to inspire readers to reflect on gender roles, foster more open and respectful attitudes towards gender, and promote gender equality and inclusion in society. All faculty and students were welcome to participate!

Gender Education Book Exhibition

Gender equality and diversity are important contemporary social themes and core elements of campus education. To promote the widespread adoption of gender equality and diversity education concepts, the library hosted a "Gender Education Book Exhibition" from February 25 to March 8 at the Taipei and Taoyuan campus libraries and the Kinmen Location Reading Room. The exhibition  featured books on gender issues, interpersonal relationships, and communication, helping with self-understanding, respecting others, and enhancing the quality of life. All faculty and students were welcome to visit and borrow books.

Diverse Gender Book Exhibition

In an era of diverse gender identities, both biological sex and gender identity are no longer the sole perspectives for understanding gender. Reading allows us to better understand ourselves and others, and through learning mutual respect and inclusion, we can create a more harmonious and fulfilling life together. The library will host a "Diverse Gender Themes Book Exhibition" from June 1 to June 12 at the Taipei, Taoyuan campus libraries, and Kinmen Location Reading Room, featuring books on gender issues and relationships. All faculty and students are welcome to visit and borrow books.
