Report the incident to a drillmaster, class advisor, or this committee. If the individual involved has concerns, a legal representative or someone aware of the situation can file a report and provide written statements for this committee to assist in the investigation. Regarding students' right to education, the situation will be reviewed by the Faculty Review and Evaluation Committee within one month from becoming aware of it and handled in accordance with Article 14, Paragraphs 8 and 9 of the Teachers' Act. A crisis management team will also be formed to handle the students' rights, including course adjustments to reduce interaction opportunities between the involved parties, while also providing counseling and legal resources.
If the perpetrator is a student, this committee can contact the perpetrator's school to form a joint investigation committee for the case. If the perpetrator is not a student, this committee can provide the victim with relevant psychological counseling and legal consultation. Victims can also seek legal redress; there is a six-month legal limitation period for victims of sexual harassment to report the incident to judicial authorities. For sexual assault cases, which are prosecutable offenses, the judicial authorities will handle the situation.
Yes, as long as both parties involved at the time of the incident fall under the subjects specified by the Gender Equality Act (including president, teachers, staff, workers, or students), the case can still be investigated under the Gender Equality Act regardless of whether the applicant has graduated, with no limitation on the application time. (Supplementary information: According to Article 28, Paragraph 2 of the Prevention Guidelines, the investigation and handling by the Gender Equality Committee will not be terminated due to the loss of the perpetrator's status.)
